18:00 OPENING: Ballet Folklorico of the Yucatan State Government, the Peon Contreras Theater.
19:00 Welcome Cocktail: Trio to entertain, Foyer of the Peon Contreras Theater.

Monday, September 26
21:00 Regional Vaquería:  in the basement of City Hall.

Tuesday, September 27
21:00 Turi-bus through the neighborhoods of the city

Wednesday, September 28
Free Day: You can visit to Chichen Itza or Uxmal (not organized by the Congress.)

Thursday September 29
20:00 Congress Dinner


SOCIAL EVENTS DURING YOUR STAY IN MERIDA, YUCATAN
In Merida, there are also cultural events throughout the week, are very nice and are well organized and scheduled:

Sunday: “Antojitos” (regional food) and crafts at the Main Plaza from 9:00 am. You can also rent a bike and ride on the bike-path.
Monday: Regional Vaquería front of City Hall from 21:00 pm.
Tuesday: Music of the Big Bands of the 40s in Santiago Park from 20:30 pm.
Wednesday: Show in the “Olimpo” Cultural Center (next to City Hall): can be a concert, theater play or Yucatecan trova music.
Thursday: “Serenata”, music in Santa Lucia Park from 21:00 pm
Friday: Folkloric Ballet of the University in the Peon Contreras Theater and “Noche de Trova” in the “Olimpo” Cultural Center.
Saturday: “Noche Mexicana” on the top of Paseo Montejo at 20:00 pm and “Fiesta” in the Main Square Festival from 21:00 pm.
